Rexx Anthony Samuell graduated Phi Beta Kappa, summa cum laude, and with Honors having the rank of first (!) in his class in the College of Fine Arts at the University of Kentucky with the degree of Bachelor of Fine Arts majoring in Theater and minoring in English. Because of his premiere rank, he carried his college's standard in the graduation ceremonies on May 5th, 2002 in Lexington.
The aspiring young actor appeared in 2002 from May 30th through June 16th at the Actors' Guild of Lexington in Lexington, Kentucky where he performed the lead role in the world premiere production of The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde adapted for the stage by Patrick Kagan-Moore.
Rexx appeared from July 24th through July 28th at the 2002 Lexington Shakespeare Festival in King Lear where he performed the role of the King of France.
